Thrill to the sound of a string quartet this December as we present classics like “Joy to the World,” and “Away in the Manger,” along with such popular tunes as “White Christmas,” and some Hanukkah melodies. It’ll be just the way to get in the holiday spirit.

Songs of the Old West
Yippee ki-yay! Join us for a roundup of favorites from the range. We’ll set off on “Happy Trails” to the “Red River Valley” with “Oh Susanna” and the “Buffalo Gals”. Just remember “A Cowboy’s Prayer”: “Don’t Fence Me In”.

Summer Splash
Let’s jump right in for some summertime fun with a selection of jazz standards (“That Old Black Magic”) and pop songs (“Yesterday”). Naturally, we have to begin with our annual ice cream social. Come on in – the water’s fine.

The Concert Singers
The Concert Singers was established in 1948 as the Westchester Civic Chorus and is the oldest independent choral group in Los Angeles. Based in the Westchester area, the group has performed at many venues throughout Southern California and has presented a wide variety of choral repertoire, including sacred and secular seasonal music, traditional choral masterworks, premieres of new works, madrigals, pops, Broadway, and vocal jazz. They typically perform three concerts a year, plus occasional performances for local civic groups and corporations. The Concert Singers is currently under the musical direction of Colleen Cronin and is assisted by accompanist, Dr. Stephanie Hutchinson.
